I love our video! Im so proud of our group. I feel like we did so good with this video, it came out just as we hoped. Anne is the best director and Dat is the best producer! Exatiel is a great actor, I was comfortable around him after awhile. I would do all over again in a heartbeat. <3
This is my beautiful team. Team Niger. I thank Nina a lot for her devotion to the team. I think for me, the stress didn’t kick in until the hour before the presentation. Raeanna seemed pretty chill about everything the whole time. I think we couldn’t have done better. We did the best we could and I think it turned out PERFECT!!!
COUNTRY PLAN !
This is Niger’s country plan. We concentrated on improving Niger’s main water source, the Niger River. The book, I think was the hardest thing to do. Finding pictures to match with everything and getting the writing to sound good. Im glad we finished and I think everything came out perfect!

Beyond Pix Essay
I’ve never been to a studio where multimedia was used except in the DSA, so I was really excited when I found out we were going to Beyond Pix. Before the visit, I thought I was going to know all their jobs and duties because of what the DSA has taught me. I was very wrong because having a job involving multimedia is way different than just having class. Now I know that it’s a lot harder because things are for real life. The projects they do for other people have to be perfect and precise. In the DSA, we try our best to come close to perfect with our projects.
One of my predictions that turned out to be true was the team work. I kind of had an idea that not only one person would would be working on a big project. I knew that it took a lot of people to get one thing done, and they all have to work together. I want a job just like that, with team work and friendly people. I was excited to think that I at least knew that about a job in multimedia.
One of my predictions that turned out to be false was the way the studio was run. I thought it would be a bunch of cubicles and people in suits looking bored. I was way wrong because everyone looked so happy to be at work and there weren’t any cubicles at all. They worked in big offices and some offices I saw had two people working in them. That really made me want to work there because everyone was so friendly and in a good mood.
The bottom line is that I really really liked the trip to Beyond Pix. I think it helped me put my career in perspective. I hope one day I can get a job in a place like that. Everything seemed fun and the people seemed to like to go to work everyday, even though sometimes they had to wake up at four in the morning.
Lets go back to the beginning. I liked learning photoshop because now I know how to fix old family pictures on my own. I can fix or make better pretty much any picture except the really hard ones. So photoshop was a good thing to learn because now I can use it for my own benefits. Graphic Design was fun, too. Making the CD covers and taking our own pictures for them and making up our own song names, that was fun. Maybe when I become a famous singe I can make my own CD covers (sike). PHOTOGRAPHY, I think was my favorite because we got to go outside and take weird pictures with our group. I still cant take good pictures or even decent ones. But Im willing to work on that. Now the HOOF project, that wasn’t as hard as I thought. In the end, I actually kind of wanted to start over and do another one. But doing the project was stressing and very overwhelming but in the end, it was worth the expression of my parents face when they saw it. Working with FinalCut Pro and photoshop to make the video was cool. Learning hoe to use FinalCut Pro was kind of hard at first but I got the hang of it. Last but not least, starting 3D. Its HARD! I feel right when I get the hang of something, Randy has something new for us to grasp on. I need to keep up! I don’t want to fall behind second semester when I’ve done good during first. So yeah, thats the update for first semester & Im excited to see what else we learn in second.
Today, I’m thankful for nice bus drivers, like BOB. Yesterday I made plans with my cousin to go to the movies today after school and I got permission from my mom and money from my stepdad. My mom warned me a lot of times to call her after school and remind her I was going to the movies or I would be in a lot of trouble when I got home. Well, this morning I woke up and got ready and whatnot and I thought I had everything I needed like my money and stuff so I started walking to my bus this morning and its about a five minute walk and its REALLY cold. I was sitting down on my seat for about 5 minutes coz Bob waits for about 15 minutes for all the kids to get on the bus when i realized i forgot my phone in my room! Oh crap, how am i supposed to get my phone back! I thought about waiting to get to school and calling my mom from there telling her to bring me my phone but thats too much hassle and she had to go to work so she wasn’t going to have time for that. I thought about just leaving without it but that meant no movie. I wanted to ask Bob if I could get off at the other stop closer to my house (coz I walk to the further one) and run to get my phone but how was he supposes to keep ALL the other kids waiting for me. So i thought that would never happen. But it was killing me inside not asking him. So I found some brave guts in me and I walked up to him and asked him. And guess what? HE SAID YES! So I got off the bus on the second stop and I ran to my house! I think it took me about 5-8 minutes to run to my house and run back. But I did it. I got my phone back. So guess what that means, MOVIES TODAY! (: And thats why Im thankful for nice bus driver, specifically Bob. I think if it wan another bus driver, he wouldn’t have let me do what I did. He wouldn’t have kept the other riders waiting for a cell phone.
LUCIACRUZ! Im thankful for her just as much as I’m thankful for my family because thats what she practically is. We’ve known each other since the first grade and have always remained really close friends. Im also thankful for having two amazing parents and amazing friends. Im thankful for having everything I have and . Im thankful for every day! Without my family, first of all, I wouldn’t be here and second of all, I love them because they’re my family.(:

This one is red. Duh. I also took out the cardboard piece from the top stairs. And the latter from the very bottom. I used the clone stamp to take away the latter and the cardboard. I tried to only make the bricks brighter but I think I might have gotten some red on the railings.
